I have read Bestops description of the two fabrics available for the Sunrider. Big ( almost $150) price difference between the two. Will I be disappointed if I go with lower cost option? Gladiator parks in garage when not in use so I’m not concerned about rapid fading.

I have the cheaper versions on both my JT soft top and my JL sunrider.
Bought the sunrider used.

IMO the fabrics themselves are not worth the price difference, BUT and its a BIG BUT, if you are buying new the warranty on the Sunrider is worth the upcharge for the Premium Twill.

I have the twill and find it to not look as “cheap” as the Sailcloth. But, that’s my opinion. There is also an added insulating material on the twill option. But, I haven’t sat in both at length to see if there is a sound/temp difference.

Thanks. Didn’t realize there was a difference in warranty. I’ll go to bestop site and check that out.

I have owned a twill soft top and the base material. I will only use the twill from now on. Easy to keep clean and seems quieter and better built.

I went with the twill version for the warranty.

Had the twill on my JL and now on my JT. Like the look better and is more of a premium feel while being easy to clean and care for With some 303 cleaner.

My take - Had several of the cheaper ones and now on my second premium twill. I feel the twill is worth every penny for several major reasons. The durability is far superior - takes weather, heavy periods of sun, hits, tree limbs, debris, water, hail, heavy downpours, and open/closed cycles, exceptionally well. The fastening method/design is different and the premium twill is far superior. The operating hardware is even made a bit different and with better hardware. It stays in place much better. It keeps heat, cold, and noise out much better. When I had my non-premium/non twill versions, it seemed like I always had to adjust or refasten something, Besides all that, it even looks way classier. Besides all that the warranty used to be superior too. BTW, my comments also describe the full size soft top and the partial sun rider.
