Am I losing my mind? I think the pivot knuckle bolts are way too far forward. If I detach them i get a lot closer to it fitting in the back.

I just installed one of these. First off you have the top on backwards. The clear window faces the front.

Do you see those tubes that adjust up and down, there are 4 of them. Take those all the way down, this will make it easier to attach until the top stretches.

Go ahead and remove the rear tinted window, you can attach that at the end. After you Velcro the top to the frame then attach the front clear window to the rail. Take a look at the instructions for specifically how to do it. Next step would be to attach the fabric rear corners to the frame. After you do this then you can zip in the side and rear windows.

It may need some adjustments to the pivot bolt and brace to get it right on the money. It took awhile to get it just right but after you do it will be tight as a drum.

One other thing I should add. Move your 4 rail attachment clamps as close to the corners as you can. This will prevent the corners from pulling up when you put the tension on the top.
