I doubt it. It gets hot, sure, but it probably doesn't get as hot. Probably reflects heat.Probably doesn't attract as much heat from the sun as Granite crystal metallic
I can tell you there were a bunch in Texas and some in Oklahoma. I got lucky to find this one in Missouri! All blue, grays, white, and red around here. I drove 2 hours to get this.Ever noticed Darker colors are shipped north and lighter colors south.. up here all ypu see is blues, blacks, grays and whites ( those are everywhere and easiest to maintain)
Ten demerits for using the phrase "high velocity" in conjunction with a Jeep.High Velocity

I painted them it's something I've been doing for years. The exception was the factory Red Brembo's on my 392 Challenger. Are those covers on the front calipers or did you paint them? Thanks, Tony
I have been considering doing the exact same thing .. the brake dust collects in them and they look terrible. Are those covers on the front calipers or did you paint them? Thanks, Tony
Thanks for the tip gonna look it up and put in my cart. They make caliper paint that handles the heat, VHT is another company that sells excellent paint for exterior auto parts (VHT brand is Very High Temperature)

That's the stuff. Really good, lasts.
In my cart nowThat's the stuff. Really good, lasts.
I keep the black (a one part epoxy) on hand because it's a good match for chassis black and I've used it on the locks on my Eagle to make them black to match the door handles.

It's tough and as my show car shows - it's got a good life and hasn't even shown wear where I painted the door locks to match the Jeep door handles in my car.In my cart now![]()
