I was thinking the same thing about increased trade in value. Not the case.... Just left the dealership yesterday and got flat out Gladiator Rubicon trade in value $50K even. They dropped the $66K sticker on the new one to $64. I mentioned the rarity of the color and they said that's never factored in.

I was $4000 in the plus on mine back in January when I was getting my oil changed. Paid $37,000 for it out the door and they said they would cut me a check for $41,000 for it. That was with 18,000 miles on it.

I just don't understand the logic to discountinue a popular color.
Ok stop putting them on the lots if it make any sense but at least leave ALL colors to a special order build.

I actually like how they do limited run colors. It gives us a sense of having something rare that you won't see a ton of out and about.

Maybe every year they should do a "fan's choice" color. Open up voting and let us all vote on a past color that we would like to see run for the next model year. Limited run of course.

I like that color to, wasn't available when I ordered mine. I wouldn't mind a diesel either, but still hard to find them here and seeing quite a few problems when a lift is applied to make them a little better for wheeling. I'm also disappointed they don't come with the 4.10 gearing. I want one on 40's with a 6" lift, ha ha. oh well, maybe next year.
