Is Gator green coming back?!!

Chance of it coming back is like 0%.

Every year they offer certain colors, for a limited time, with a specific limited production amount, that they never bring back. And it's not limited to Jeep's either. They do this with Ram's and Dodge's as well.

It's why my '12 JKR in Crush orange rarely gets driven anymore. I couldn't replace it if I wanted to.

I have searched but cannot find any figures on how many of each limited edition color were produced before being retired. That would make a very lively conversation!

Sometimes they release those figures, sometimes they don't. Generally it's between 3000 and 4000 units in a specific color. For instance, my '17 Ram 1500 in Sublime green, they only made 3000 of them in that color. Ram did issue a statement saying they were only making 3000 in that color as a limited edition. My '12 JKR in Crush orange, they only made 3300 of them. Had to wait for the full 2012 sales figures to be released for that.

I believe Nacho was reported at 1400. My 07 Charger Daytona only had 1400 and you got a #'d badge on dash mine is 714/1400. Always thought that was really cool.

I really thought I was all in for Gobi but oddly when I had a chance to really look at it good for a long time I did not go with it. Ended up with Sting Grey which won out and I actually get a lot of people commenting on how much they like the Sting Grey color.

I had a 2013 JKR in Commando Green, I think it was a 1-yr-only color.
