Broken latch on Glove Box

Had a race yesterday and a buddy of mine who rode up with me forgot to lock my rear passenger door and someone decided to get in my jeep and steal my debit card out of my wallet and try to break into my glove box. I always have it and the middle console locked so I guess they thought it they kept pulling on the handle it would magically open. They ended up snapping the handle off. My question is anyone got a idea on how I can get this thing open and unlocked now without doing any damage to the outside around the box. I tried to hold it up to it and see if I could unlock it but apparently a spring on the inside is broken off as well.

On a side note I hate thieves with a passion!! I work to hard for my crap to have someone try to take it. They tried to hit my card for $4500 at Walmart but my bank flagged it as suspicious and sent me a text to approve the purchase which is basically how I figured out something was up.

Searched and find only a complete glove box door; the lock cylinder is sold separate. Here is the Mopar # for a '20 Gladiator

The timing is unfortunate as all the Mopar PDCs are under the UAW Strike walkout; if ordered by a dealer is will be some time before is arrives.

Check with a local body shop and ask them to check salvage companies for a replacement. Here is the PN for a '20 Wrangler -- Do not know what the difference might be as they IMO should be same.

Glove Box,

I found it all for $93, confirmed it had everything with it box and lock. Can have it in 3 days just need to figure out how to get the old one out without damaging the dash.

I just checked mine . There are side slide latches (like a door bolt) - both are plastic that work with the instrument panel surround lift the handle they retract .. located a obout 1.5 in from top and about 2 in from the edges. Not sure if a feeler gauge could reach and push back.. Looks like the key lock part is in the handle.. Thoughts.. I'd probably drill out the remaining lock cylinder to allow it to be turned the pull on the remaining bottom parts, just like lifting the handle.
BTW.. keep the positive mindset; very hard to do when thieves attack (dirty sobs)

That's true. I guess it did it's job and kept them out. Wish I would of put my wallet in there now. I'll give your idea a go!!! Thanks for the idea!

The hole in the middle, see if you can get a tool in it and turn it counter clockwise a 1/4 turn.

Then try pulling on the square tube to the left of the hole.

Your lock part is broken off, so all you need to do is rotate the lock mechanism out of the way.
I can't tell what operates the latches on the side of the lid. Not going to break mine to find out ?

But first step is to unlock it. After that you might be able to use cards or trim tools to slide the latches in. Probably need a third hand.

I wish I could electrify the jeep. Have it give a warning and then shock away. few months ago, with at my sons soccer practice, lady broke into my jt, took my partners bank card and license, but left everything else. Tried to withdrawal money from our local bank. Found they were part of some gang thats been working the east coast. also of note, even bank cameras are cheap and Crappy and dont seem to capture great details. I would have thought they would be top of the line...nope.
