I normally do my own powder coating as well as small parts for others - springs, suspension parts, etc. - whatever will fit into my 30" oven.Looks a heck of a lot better than mine. How do you go about powder coating and what did it cost you?
But this had the bigger piece and I wanted things to match perfectly, so I took it all apart, cleaned things up a bit and took it to Pinnacle Powder Coating in Des Moines.

It turned out fantastic. They blasted it and did the black texture that matches stock very well. Sounds like they've done Jeep bumpers before just by how he quoted the price and talked about it, and wrote it up on the sheet "Jeep bumper, disassembled".
It was $240 which included the 7% Iowa sales tax.
When I bought the bumper it was 435, so I figure with the powder coating it's still under 700.
I see they've gone up, but if one cost say, 470 and added powder coating, you've got a bit over 700 compared to likely double that for the MOPAR branded one unless you find a take-off at a good price.
