I just installed some tube doors on my Gladiator. After getting the doors adjusted for a smooth fit, I put the hinge pin screws in. However, I can’t get the top one in for 2 of the doors. Any advice on how to fix this and/or how big of an issue is it to leave those 2 screws out? I won’t be doing any trail rides soon and I don’t anticipate that those doors will even be opened/closed more than a couple dozen times before I
put the full door back on. Thanks in advance!

It might help if you included images of the pins on the tube doors or at least the brand and model you are referring to. Especially if they attach in some way that differs from the factory doors.

That said, I can't recall the last time I used the factory bolts in our OEM doors. I replaced them with pins, something like these I believe, and just chucked them into the storage under the rear seat.

I generally don't put all the nuts in my doors, I do put in 1 per door though, just for some protection from running off and a bit more stability. Take the door off and try threading the nut while it's out of the hinge. If you already have one installed in the door, remove it and try the one that you're having trouble with.

The issue is very likely that they are different too from bottom. They look VERY similar, but are not the same. I have to put them away in a way that tells me which is which.

I haven't had hinge pins screws in since the day I took off doors almost 6yrs ago. No need for em. Just run it, no worries

I’d question that decision if you ever roll.

Door is held in by 3 points with the latch. If you roll, you got bigger problems. The door ain't opening
I know lots of people leave them out. I choose to take 5 for minutes and put them back in.
