I took my Mini Cooper to Carmax for a buy offer. They are not a good place to do business with and i would never buy a car form them (i know this was a carvana purchase)

1. they told me teh mini cooper transmission was slipping into second gear. It never felt that way to me.
2. the vehicle came up on an impound report meaning it was in a government storage or impounded and the report is not available to the public.

Just a super shady outfit. I don't trust them.

Being in an impound could mean anything from "it was parked in a red zone and towed" to "the previous owner has a DUI on their background check now", it doesn't mean there's a problem with the car.

Traded off my 2021 Mojave to them and bought a new 2026 Mojave X.

Seamless transaction. 2026 was ready when promised, no issues.
