What is the proper caster angle for the Gladiator? I'm running a 2.5" AEV Dualsport lift with the Geometry Correction Brackets and Discount Tire did an alignment check and reported the caster angle at 4.7. I know the JL Wrangler is supposed to be somewhere north of 5 from the factory, with many going to 6 to find the sweet spot (and to cure shimmy or even death wobble.)

So does the Gladiator have a different specification? Mine drives just fine...no shimmy or death wobble. It feels tight and steers really well. So I am not worried about it. But I was surprised that it was only 4.7.

Stock but with mopar extended LCAs
Ok, thanks. Mine has the Rubi LCA's, which I think are the same as yours. My guess is that the AEV Geo Correction brackets dialed it back a bit. But lifting also contributed, I'm sure.

I'm going to call AEV and ask them about it and what they say it should be in this configuration. They are usually very precise and deliberate, so I'm guessing they'll tell me it is supposed to be exactly what it is.

The Mojave gets the same as the Rubi factory. When I got the extended I thought they would be the same cus I was just trying to replace a bad bushing. Turns they were a 1/4 longer.

Ahh, ok, that's interesting.

If you don't mind me asking, how much did those cost?

I can not remember my actual caster spec ATM.

Because of my lift we had to alter a bunch of shit to get it to ride right.

IN the coming days or so I will measure everything out and post it up
