Also, not sure which youre looking at...but the Rubicons have drain plugs in the bottom of the diff itself. Unsure on the sports, etc.

To confirm these clear the factory steering parts?

I have front and rear covers and they clear steering and suspension parts. I drilled and tapped 1/8 NPT near the bottom of the covers to drain the lube. I also ground reliefs at the edges to facilitate driving in a stiff putty knife to break the RTV seal if I need to remove them. You could re-use the stock gaskets but I prefer to add housing stiffness by bolting them up directly.
