2022 gladiator, Had a fail start issue about a week ago. My main battery died. I replaced the battery and it seemed to fix my issue for about two hours. And then I had a no start issue. I would push the start button dash lights were powered on but, Nothing would happen not even with a jump. So I did an auxiliary battery bypass pulling fuse 42 and disconnecting the negative cable to the auxiliary battery. My jeep still would not start. So I left the battery cables disconnected for about 20 minutes came back out, hooked them back up and the jeep started right up. This worked for about three days and now it’s doing it again with the auxiliary still bypassed I pushed the start button nothing, no warning lights no check engine lights. The system seems to be going through the steps to start just not starting.I am going to test the main fuse array when I get off work, but if anybody else has any other suggestions to look at while I’m doing this let me know.

Update just got home from work. Check the voltage at the fuse array all the terminals have power. Went to get into the jeep and start it and it started right up . Idid not disconnect battery or anything like that(it would not start this morning dash powered on pushed the button nothing happened.) A few days ago when I had this problem, I had to disconnect the battery for about 10 minutes before it would start. So if anyone has any ideas that would be great.

Update on what I’ve done. I totally deleted the auxiliary battery. Connected the positive cable from the auxiliary battery to the main battery. Did not delete the PCR. Fuse 42 is still unplugged. I double checked to make sure I unplugged 42 and the negative battery cable for the auxiliary is unhooked at both ends. The battery cable was unhooked for more than 10 minutes. It is starting now. Hopefully it stays that way. For some reason I have a feeling is not going to. There has been no other signs or symptoms such as flickering dash or any warnings. I’ll just go out there and it won’t start. I’ll have power to the dash and everything.

I bought a used 2020 not long ago. I have had several times where it wouldn't start. Other times every warning light in the dash comes on. Don't know what they are called but the 2 strips right behind the glove box with wires that look like jumpers. If I wiggle those strips It starts and runs. All kinds of different codes in the code reader. I can reset and erase codes and it will be fine for a few days or it will screw up in an hour. Always resets with the code reader. The usual code that comes up is antilock brakes

I would completely disconnect the auxiliary battery since you pulled the 42. Use a charger on the main battery to make sure you are at 100% capacity and start clean. I think you're getting your Jeep confused by leaving the AUX wired to the system. But that is only a theory. I did a tax delete on my previous Gladiator but I went for the BIG Optima Yellow top battery as my main battery and it was running fine for a year before I traded it in.

That was another thought. I was thinking maybe the can bus behind the glove box could be given me a problem. If it does the no start on me again I will check that can bus.

I did completely remove the aux battery. I also rerouted that positive cable for the aux battery up to main.
