I just saw this on eBay:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Headliner-...Cotton-For-Jeep-Wrangler-JL-2018/202793312580

Does anyone have experience with this? The listing claims it fits a Gladiator. I assume the idea is to use the parts for the front seat and back seat area and just ignore the part for the JLU cargo area. How similar is the size of the hard top area over the back seat on the JT and the JLU?

Just wondering if this is a real option, or if it would be a lousy fit.

He has good feedback on the headliner. But I wonder if the chart at the middle of the page, that lists the Gladiator is just something auto-generated by eBay? The rest of his description does not mention Gladiator. And obviously the dimensions are different.

By the way, I did not order a headliner with my Overland, because I wanted to get the Hotheads one instead. Hotheads had a sale going a couple weeks ago, so I ordered the "oak" colored one, even though I don't even have my Gladiator yet. The Hotheads people told me the oak color was close to the saddle leather seats; that's why I went with the color.

It arrived two days ago; the color is lighter than expected, but I have yet to actually see the saddle leather in person, only pictures. Anyway, the Hotheads is about half the cost of the factory one.

I've got a cousin who is an engineer and has built products for late model jeeps. He has a patented product for Jeep softtops on the market that reduces the noise level 50% @ 65mph. He's been perfecting it for years and it works. Let me know if you want me point you to his email.

I saw those before I ordered hotheads.. Looks like someone trimmed up a cheap sleepingbag & glued it to the roof. Probably works ok, but you see the inside of your rig more then the outside (at least I do) so I try to make sure that looks as factory clean as possible.

Hahaha you're right, I just looked at them. They look like something a pimp would have. I wonder if they come in hot pink with tassles hahaha.

It looks like they have a history of bad adhesive tape and fall off too.

I have not done this yet, but its a backup. Get headliner material from frabric shop, joannes, and some 3m adhesive spray.
i've redone headliners in old cherokees, comes out real nice. they have a backer board, but concept is same. can lay down insulation prior to headlining.
