I purchased one of the older Cobra hand held CBs. Looking for a route to connect to the Aux wires near the battery. Any suggestions where to fish the wire through the firewall?

Why? If you have the factory AUX switches you should have a bundle of 6 wires in the passenger footwell. Aux 1-4, ignition and battery.

If you don't have the factory Aux switches then the plug where the clutch rod goes through the firewall is pretty easy. That is where I ran the coax for my GMRS radio antennae.

Not many running Cb anymore. And if they are, they are also running GMRS. If they aren't running CB than they have GMRS. Ive actually removed my CB's and replaced them with, you guessed it. GMRS.

There’s a big factory grommet on the driver side firewall behind the brake booster that works well. You can poke through it and seal it back up with silicone. Some people also use the hood latch grommet if you want an easier path. Just keep the wire away from the steering shaft and exhaust.
