anyone running both front and rear coilovers? I have the Rebel Offroad recon kit up front and considering doing rear coilovers as well. only see a few kits out as a whole, but looks like they both mount in the stock location. Evo has a bracket to help strengthen the upper mount it looks like. not much out there on rear CO kits that I can find. would love to hear from you guys.

thanks

I would believe you’re not going to find much since these are pickups. Coilovers need to be valved and sprung due to weight. Unless you’re at a constant weight, or close all the time, it’s not going to look/feel right if you’re loaded at one point and unloaded at another…..

I'd rather spend my $'s wheel'n. After I did the Rubicon trail I said "No more, its built & done" When it breaks something I will replace with an upgrade.

3 new MOAB BOH's added this last week; <<<<< & no goofy ducks added.
Golden Spike
Metal Masher
Cliff Hanger

I'm done, now its just trip money no need for upgrades till it breaks.
and My JT does double duty, it pulls my 4000 lb travel trailer to MOAB (580 miles) does the trails, then pulls the trailer home. 4th trip and its 4 years old with 37,000 miles. Its not a daily driver either, just vacations, trips and wheel'n. Only way I would have a JT. I have a car for car stuff in town.

I have coilovers all 4 corners. Love it. I tow a 4K trailer. Load and unload my truck all the time.
I’ve had AEV 2.5” and EVO 4.5”HD springs on it, with Bilstein 5100 shocks. All good. The coilovers are better.
I’d contact Accutune.

Could you send me some pics of the rear mounting? Are they mounted in the stock shock location?
I have to make a change either way so looking at the coilovers for both ride height adjustments and off road performance.
Accutune is one of the places I’ve looked. Haven’t contacted anyone just yet.

The rear coilovers mount in the factory location frame and axle.
I have the EVO/King set up. Northridge4x4 had it in stock. I purchased a year ago, about the only way to get CO’s at the time. EVO does provide a reinforcement bracket for the frame, however it does not do much. If you already have the control arms, trac bar and so on all you really need is the CO’s.
I have 72” wide axles under my Gladiator. If you have stock axles you will need 3.5” BS wheels to fit a 2.5” CO.
The CO’s on mine are 2.5”x12” travel with #300 over #400 spring rates.
The EVO/King spring rates were way to soft for my liking. Accutune helped me get the spring rates I have now.

Thank you so much! I appreciate the pics and response. Looks like I know what I’m doing.
I’m running 70” axles with 3.5” backspace wheels. Should be good.
