What tune do you have? I thought I remembered GDE saying that their trans tune doesnt do well with regears. Sounds like a tune from them would be more beneficial than a regear and cheaper anyway, except for the hassle of swapping PCMs.
I'm about to pull the trigger on the GDE tune and contacted them today, since I'm also planning on 4.56s. No issues with regearing and their tune, it'll handle it the same as the factory tune handles the change of gears. The issue is their tune is only EPA approved for a stock gladiator. Stock gears, stock tires, etc.

You did Schnebly Hill didn't you? Beautiful trail for sure.
I did that one with a stock rental Compass May of this year. I got some looks 🤣

Dude... much better than the 4runners we saw. But the views!

I found Schnebly Hill to be rather boring, really. Kinda just bumpy lol. The views were nice, though...so it was worth it

Clearly you didn't get stuck in a vortex. Jeep tour guy was pretending to be lost....blamed a vortex. I told him to lay off the Peyote. It was easy, my kid drove it... But so pretty.

Now, if I can only get my hands on a JTRD with 37" KO2s and 4.11 gearing...
Think I found a workaround here.
37" KO2s on 4.11s is roughly the same engine revolutions per rollout as 33" falkens on 3.73s so back on they go. A couple tankfuls and I'll have a good idea which is optimum. I can tell already after a short trip the truck really prefers spinning the shorter tires. Tomorrow I'll get the speedo dialed in and begin to see what the mileage numbers do with my load and driving habits.
