Comparing Two Offers

After a couple months of browsing and watching I'm finally out looking to buy. I'm currently talking to two dealers and trying to decide if I'm getting a decent deal since prices seem to be all over the board. I'm 7.5% tax.

Edit: 10k down

Both are Sport S, with Trailer Tow Package, Cold Weather, Conv. Package, 24s, Automatic, Aux switch, 7" Tech Group.

Option 1: Premium Sunrider Top, MSRP $43,765, 40,060 "sale" price, after taxes/fees, trade in ($2,500 which is same as online places would offer), $30k out the door.

Option 2: Hard top, Alpine Audio, $45,955 msrp, with trade in $32k out the door.

I feel like I'm seeing much better deals out there.

Edit2: Ended up getting a much better offer from 3rd dealer. All of the above in Punkin plus bed liner and misc. for 38.5k Otd not counting cash down. Much less of a drive and picking up tomorrow. My other half who has a loaded up Rubi JL is a little jealous. Saved enough cash to lift and drop new tires.

Honestly I wish they were offering me that sort of discount... I'd already be in a Jeep.

Am I reading it right? $30k with $2500 trade so say $32.5k down from $43.7k is about 7k better than anyone is offering me on a sport s with automatic, 24S, and popular equipment package. I'm about to call it quits myself and try again later this summer.

Ah yeah, that is pretty much in line with what I was seeing. At this point the only difference I'm able to get is just who has the lower doc fee

That's about how much I was hoping to put down to keep the financing at $28k or lower. Good luck!

2k differance with the hardtop & audo being the differance.

Basically what top do you want. If its the soft top go for that & even if you want the audo the PSS-23wra from alpine is 1300 so your 700 ahead. If you prefer the hard top then its a no brainer here.

Personally if it were me I would take option 2.

I did the same... Then got talked out of a true lift & put on 35's... I was at 34.5k for my Max Tow similarly equipped before my down & trade. To get that price I had to give up the cold weather package (will install heated seats whenever I get around to it, they are already sitting in my garage) and had to take a color I am not crazy about. Got firecracker red when I wanted sting gray
