Complaining aside, what would be a dealbreaker?

Ya but all 6 of you old fogies aren't really a big enough market segment. :P

Especially when the other 4 all buy 90s S10s or 80s Nissan Hardbodies :P
Hate to tell you but I kinda think we are - who do you think is buying these $65-70k or more trucks? WE have a significant share of the dollars being spent in the truck market - which BTW subsidizes much of the millennial segments - e.g. Prius buyers

So offer me an extended cab or two door because I don't have a lot kids to haul around in a crew cab. I want to invest in a truck with a useful, right-sized bed of more than 60 inches!

Couldn't agree more.
Crew cab with a 60 inch bed is my deal breaker - what use is a bed that short? And I don't want to here about a bed extended with the tailgate down either....

I have to ask if the extra 7 inches on your Ram 1500 makes it that much more capable than the 5ft bed on the Gladiator? I ask because I also own a ram 1500 and for me 7 inches doesn't make a difference at all.

Like most of you, it will be price. I can't imagine being more expensive than the Tacoma. Taco's TRD Pro (top of the line) starts at $43k. And Wrangler Rubicon at $41k. Which is already ridiculous high for a pickup truck and a Jeep, if you ask me. And honestly this whole pickup/crossover hype is driving the prices up.

Also if financing, the interest rate! Mopar can do alot better than 4.5%, they need to give people an incentive to buy and finance. They need to offer .9% for all vehicles for 72 months.

I got the Laramie specifically because it was the most well-equipped model with the quad-cab instead of the crew cab. I really enjoy the resulting longer bed and use the extra space all the time. And for my "lifestyle" I am the only occupant of the truck 95% of the time. Why do I want to spend all that extra money on seats I won't use and deny myself a truck bed extension that I will use???
