Continental Terrain Contact AT2

I guess these are a fairly recent and new generation of their previous offering in the AT genre.
Honestly, Continental are some of the best tires I've had on other vehicles, so I'd be interested in them when the time comes.

I hate continental tires. I had Terrain Contact AT’s too.

The problem I’ve had with every one of them is some kinda flat spot after being parked overnight then smooths out after they warm up. I’ve never had that problem with any other brand Cept General.

And, given my tires up until these Falkens usually are shot by 10k going to my ranch the generals and Continentals got ate up faster.

I had the previous gen on my Canyon All Terrain and I can’t say enough good things about them. I too love Continental tires so I gave them a shot when the terrible oem wranglers prematurely wore out on my Canyon. They aren’t the most aggressive A/T on the market, but their sidewall design makes them look aggressive. The on road and wet handling is remarkably good. I never did any serious off-roading in mine, but when exploring around on trails and the farm they never spun. They did as good as the OEM silent armors but were night and day better all around on road and lasted a lot longer too.

Honestly, from my experience across a wide range of A/T tires, most A/T tires aren't much different than street tires. The grooves are cut in such a way as to give the appearance of aggression but the depth between lugs is pretty similar and so is performance (except street tires are quieter). Biggest different I see is usually on the sidewall, A/T's have more patterns there which can aid a bit in digging.

Only time I've seen A/T's perform more than marginally better than street tires is when they were on the more aggressive side, bordering on an M/T, like duratracs or something.

Have you seen the KO2 or Ko3 or the Wildpeak or Baja Boss those are All Terrain tires.
