I put 285/70r17 Nitto Ridge Grapplers on my Sport S non-max tow at the 1k mile mark. I noticed a pretty good pull to the right. I had about 38-39 PSI. I lowered them to about 34 PSI, and while better, it still pulls to the right a bit. Is it advisable to run lower? This is on both city and highway roads. I can't find any ideal PSI recommendations. Any insight is appreciated.

Not trying to cause insomnia but were the wheels reinstalled correctly? From personal experience working at various shops, most of the folks spinning spanners are nothing more than parts changers who run their air tools at max pressure without using a torque sensitive wheel nut tool. You may have a warped aluminum wheel. A sticking caliper piston may also be a contributor. Equal inflation side to side regardless of pressure should not be an issue unless the TPM system is not calibrated correctly and was used to set pressure. Verify with the old school gauge.

It should not pull at all ! This happened after the install? Then they did something wrong Nittos are very round & true. I have 285/75/17 ridges & run around 32# no pull ever.

I might try and lower it to 32 to see what happens. If it still pulls maybe rotate them front to back.
I had them installed and balanced, then took them to a 2nd shop (discount tire) to fix what the first shop had done - local group that I wont be going to again.
I then put them on myself, taking my time. So I'm not sure whats going on other than slight differences in the tires.

Did you verify equal pressure with a mechanical gauge? The wife's Cherokee had a leaky left front tire and a 10psi difference caused a very determined pull to the left. It was worse when the brakes were applied. Are the balance dots aligned correctly. Shops around here I have tried do not know how or do not care. What is the DOT date code on the sidewall?
