I would want one like you made for my Mojave. Do you think you could make a generic "GLADIATOR" one for my sport s? Or what do you think for non rubicon mojave models? Maybe something like that Ebay link for the anniversary badge?

Yeah, gladiator wouldn’t be too bad to make. I’m reprinting a new model now that’s a little smaller and designed a little different.

I also didn’t think about adhering it, without a base you’ll have just 6 individual letters.
Look up "vinyl transfer tape", it might be what you need. It's a transparent, lightly sticky tape that decal cutters use to apply decals.

Thanks! I’m working on some variations of it. Made this one a little too thick and small lol. But I might do something like this to make it easier.

Look on Amazon and see if they have the right color 3D printer filament.
Probably PLA 1.75mm filament.

Kevin
hard to say from a screen shot. Do office supply stores carry this stuff?

Can you make this in Mojave orange?

They probably do, I usually get it from Amazon. I wondered about orange but was thinking about maybe going black and seeing if I could find orange stickers. It’s a fun work In progress.

Maybe this:

I was thinking like you said removing the letters from the base on your first prototype. The second one looked like the customer could sand or plane down the base to a nice thin profile and it would look like it belongs once painted. I would probably hand paint mine. Im still pretty handy with an airbrush. Either way keep me posted when you get your final results. Looks good.

If the two bolts are taken out does a part of the grab handle come off? Then you could scan that and have the name integrated. It could be recessed like the Wrangler or additive as shown.

Someone else said somewhere on here they’re just decorative but I’ve never tried to remove them. I think the bolts are why really make it look like a plate belongs there lol.

Yeah I’m working on that. I can adjust the base to be much smaller, I over estimated what that looked like haha. I’m thinking maybe 1/4” overall for the base and letters would be sufficient.

I think either would be cool just letters and one with a base. Kind of makes me wish i had invested in a 3D printer and a silk screen deal to make T shirts back when i was going to. I think the programs might be to much for my pea brain though.

If op wants to share the completed stl once done. I have a ton of 3D printers and multiple colors of pla including oranges. Happy to mail at buyers cost. Pla would prob be less than $1 worth of material. It’s dirt cheap now a days.

OP, you ever get this just right? I'd be interested in the STL.
