I just want to thank Ash Patel (salesman), Kevin Glassic (sales manager), and Ahsan Javeid (finance manager) for a great buying experience. I highly recommend Chriswell Jeep if you are in the market. I am very happy with my new snazberry JT.

Just noticed that about a week ago they cut their advertised discount on all of the Gladiators in stock. They used to list almost all of their 2021 stock with discount ranging from 7k to 8k (depending on trim/model). Plus the usual freight (1500) and dealer fee (500) but still. Now, all they list is a measly 1,495 'discount' so if you add the freight/fee, they are actually sold above the MSRP? Are they also jumping on the 'there is a shortage' bandwagon and creating a feeling that there are no Gladiators to sell?

I bought my Rubicon LE they had on the lot in August of 2019. Paid 55k instead of the 63k the MSRP was. Everyone that was involved were great to deal with.
They actually had 3 LE's on the lot. A red, white and black one. I opted for the black.

I called them and left a message for Leon and can’t get anyone to reply. I guess they have enough sales happening and don’t need any more business.

I can't speak to the pricing or their inventory, but I can tell you that the chip shortage is very real. I watch CNBC all the time and they have been talking about it for several months. It is hitting the auto industry at a very bad time. The spring and summer selling months. If you are in the market, I would not wait to go shopping or ordering one. I can foresee inventory getting so low that the dealers might start selling them over sticker. If they don't have enough cars to sell, they need to make more on fewer sales. Their electric company is not going to lower their rates.

I am not saying the shortage is not real but... since you're in MD just check the jeep.com for a current Gladiator inventory around you. Just within 100 miles there are 783 MY2021 and 63 (!) MY2020 on dealers' lots. Is this what you would call a 'shortage'? If so, what's the 'healthy' number to have? Maybe the dealers are scared about the bleak prospects of replenishing the inventory once the current stock is sold out but I am having hard time understanding how raising prices is going to help with anything...
