Custom Sub Boxes

Has anyone used boxes from Ground-Shaker or SRQ Customs? I'm looking to get one for under the seat, just don't know if one is any better than the other.

I just received my box from SRQ Customs. So far...it is not fitting for me. Not sure what I am doing wrong.

i said F it and just went with the premade sub/box straight from kicker.
It was the L7T104 i believe is the part number. Slim, wired at 4 ohms (for my set up), but they have a 2 ohm version as well. Fits nice and snug under the passenger side rear seat. I have the hard floor liners and it keeps it in place. The plus side is that there is room on the driver side for my amp and LOC.

Received mine back in December. Finally getting around to installing the system. The SRQ box doesn’t fit at all. Texted the same number they gave me during the sales process but no reply. I guess I’ll be looking for a different box.

The pics on his site look different than what I received. It was about 2.5 months before I received mine after order/payment was made.
I’m going to call them tomorrow and see if I can get some answers.

I texted him and asked how long it takes..he said 3-4 weeks currently. It’s been 1.5 so far.
I already got the sub…which I could still return if needed.
I heard the ground shaker box sticks out too far and doesn’t have the best build quality. There is the fox acoustics one, I think that’s the name, a tad bit more. Maybe I may have to cancel and go with that one. Who knows.

He was really slow to answer and windows ended up changing his design a little after my issues. The Redesigned box fits much better but you also suffer a little less air space. You can get the box to fit if you pull it out towards the front of the vehicle an inch or two.

Just heard back. He is going to send me a new box. Will update again as I get more info. He has a new design so hopefully it’ll be better.

Yes the new design fits better. I feel like it hits much harder with less airspace.

i'm installing my box now. The box doesn't seem to line up right with the cutouts (indents) on the bottom to where it should sit on the brackets. it also seems like the sub will rub and hit against the back half of the seat. Have you had any issues with yours?

That is exactly how mine fit before I got them to replace with a new design that actually fits better.
