CV Joints @ 22K miles 2024 Gladiator!?

Walked outside to my 2024 Gladiator - have 22K miles on it (yes, drive a lot). Is this the CV joint that went? Appreciate anyone's thoughts.

Technically it's the boot on your CV joint that's bad, but the joint itself will also fail prematurely due to loss of grease and contaminate ingress if you continue to drive it. Be aware that this may not be covered by warranty if it's deemed the boot was damaged by something.

4 auto transfer cases require them. They're also typically stronger than u-joints but the boot can be a downside. Our boots on the 4xe have proven very durable at 50k miles of mixed use.
