As for experience, the company was restructured last year and has released new products. Yes haven’t had any issues for about 8months.

I’ve had OwlCam for about 3 years now, before and after the company change. I like it best due to the odb power and late connection. Especially when topless or doorless. I also have the 67d mount which is perfect!

I’ve been using the Garmin mini for 6 months now, including in Arizona Summer. No issues. Didn’t see the need to have an always on screen when I can look out the windshield ?. Have downloaded clips into iPhoto without problem. Running a 256GB card.

are you using e parking mode? That’s where I’m reading about the overheating. When it goes from Peking mode back to drive mode.

My wife and I are going to be purchasing the Black vue dual camera (front and Back), and hardwire it to the battery/ fuse box so that the parked mode will be active all the time. I'm going to mount them high (top next to rear view camera and next to the center cross member by the interior light) this way we can get good views of the license plates closer up. We have seen really good videos from people that have this set up and has helped in getting any kind of insurance claim settled quickly. Plus we do not like too much stuff on top of dash.
