If turning the truck off and back on doesn't fix it then try disconnecting the battery, waiting a few minutes, then hooking it back up.

I will try the battery. I turned it off and back on and it didn’t fix it. Unfortunately my warranty just went out also.

I think a report should be made then. Apparently this recall should cover a wider range of Gladiators and Wranglers. I would make a few phone calls and then a few waves. How about Jeepcares?

I did they said mine doesn’t fall under that but couldn’t give me an exact reason as to why.

When enough people complain the NHTSA will do something about it. Now it already looks like FCA has responded to dealers and owners on what to do. It also says that they don't have a permanent solution. Meaning they don't know why it blanks out. Why NHTSA claims only 34k vehicles are affected is confusing. The fix is replacement. If you pay for it, save your documents.
