Am I the only one that thinks the dash grab handle socket bolts looks like something unfinished from the factory ?
Some may think it looks utilitarian, me I think as nice as they made the interior look it kind of looked like they forgot to finish it with caps to cover the socket bolt heads.
Anyway, I save everything so when I installed the weathertech fender flaps, I saved the push in rivets.
I clipped the studs off of them and used industrial strength velcro on the socket heads to attach them.

I think the exposed bolt heads look good. What I don't like is the fact that the wranglers have "Wrangler" on the handle and in the gladiators its just blank. They made sure to put little Easter eggs everywhere, but overlook something so simple in my opinion.

Considering they're used to mount accessories into, I'd rather there not be caps on them. The second I put something into them, then I have to find a place to store the goddamn cap, and I'd rather not fuss with it.

A cada su propio.

Hmmm…

Cover up $15 (???) in bolts with $1.25 in fastener hats. The nice thing about these vehicles is beauty is in the eye of the beholder. This is a classic example of that. While someone may do something that makes absolutely no sense, if it makes sense to them and they like it…I say rock on. It’s not anyone else that has to make your car payment. The only caution I would alert you to would be not making any of these “modifications“ permanent. Your next salesman would love to ding you $500-$1000 where it would take him $15 to restore it and take more profit for himself.

It's not a problem on the Overland.
Well shit! I didn’t realize the Overlands were different (haven’t picked mine up yet). I ordered the CMM Off-road grab bar ball mount and phone holder that clearly isn’t going to go where I thought it was gonna go

Makes about as much sense as putting 37 or 40 inch tires on the end of a 373 axle.. Rock on

I picked mine up yesterday and saw that. I didn't read well enough when I ordered the grab handle ball socket for my phone mount. Had to order a different mounting option
