Not sure yet, it was borderline rush hour when I picked it up so I didn't do much other than try not to get killed by one of the 2,000 Nissans actively trying to run everyone else off the road.

But so far it feels almost exactly like it did with the 33s. I might rip on it a bit on the way home just to see though.

And I don't mean to diss our Jeeps, I love this thing, but it legitimately might be the slowest vehicle I've owned in 15 years lol

When my wife is in the truck she likes to let me know if an intersection is clear or not, and she now tells me it's "Jeep clear" meaning even my "crazy slow" Jeep should be able to make it without killing her or the kids

Interesting. I honestly think the JT is pretty peppy. Well with the 32" tires it has now. Even with altitude power loss I still think it is more than adequate. It does not take off like the '21 Sierra 1500 AT4 Diesel I traded for the JT, but it is peppy. And that's coming from a guy that has owned 34 cars including Jaguar XJR that was stupid fast. The aluminum body made it very light.

I'm sure I *could* drive this more quickly, but I like taking my time and enjoy going slowly as I row through the gears. Something about trucks just makes me want to take it easy.

Even my last vehicle, Land Rover LR4 with the 5.0 V8, was decently quick despite being like 5900lbs

I'm sure I *could* drive this more quickly, but I like taking my time and enjoy going slowly as I row through the gears. Something about trucks just makes me want to take it easy.

I've owned 5 BMW, 2 MB, 2 Jag, 2 VW, 6 Jeeps, 2 Minis (both highly tuned), Volvo, etc. Right now we are probably keeping the current ones for the long run. We are concentrating on the property since we moved here back in June. We've owned for 4 years but had very little time to visit and do projects. Now that we are retired and sold the other house we are finally working on them.

So I'm not sure why my GPS varied so much, but on the way home I saw my speedo was about 5 mph slow at 68 MPH.

Went to measure the tires today, level across the top, and I got 33.75" (35 psi) in the rear and 33.5" in the front (34 psi).

Seems pretty short but I guess at the 39 psi they came with they'd likely measure closer to 34" tall.

Could also be that my cheap, 15 year old level isn't quite as good as it once was. Will try again with a helper and see where I'm at.

Tires were set at 39 PSI, so I dropped them to 34 to start and I'll drop/add air as needed.

I'm also putting a muffler back on at some point in the next week or so, so maybe the road noise will be a bit more noticeable but I still can't imagine it'll be anywhere near unbearable.

I agree with the sizing, they do look quite a bit bigger than my 33's, wish I'd measured them before pulling them off to see how big the difference really is. Eye test tells me these are about 1.5" taller.

I still haven't gotten to do a chalk test on these yet but the ride is great with them at 30psi cold. I still haven't gotten to do a chalk test on these yet but the ride is great with them at 30psi cold. Hopefully in the next day or two I'll be around a parking lot big enough to see how well the tread is making contact.

I gotta do the chalk test as well, but even dropping from 39 down to 34/35 helped tremendously. I also noticed that about 95% of the shaking went away, so I may not actually need another balance (it may actually just been bad pavement I was on at the time).

I'm noticing the "drop in power" from bigger/heavier tires a little bit today, especially with the crazy high headwinds. Corners where I used to coast through in 2nd gear now more pedal to get back up to speed. It's just a matter of me putting it in the correct gear, so not anything I can't easily rectify.

They also feel just a tad "floatier" than the 33's, no doubt due to having more sidewall to flex. At the same time they're just a bit stiffer than the Falkens so I feel a little more jolting over bumps. Again, probably all rectified if I dropped a couple more PSI in the tires.

I haven’t had shaking, but I do get just a touch of vibration on the steering wheel at low speeds. I’m guessing what I’m feeling is the difference in the tread pattern between these and the Wildpeak ATs. My closest Discount Tire is about an hour and a half away but next time I’m close I may have them remounted using the dot method and see if that changes anything but that is more out of curiosity. I’d like to know the difference in weight needed with them mounted as they are now vs lining them up using dots.

Once I dropped from 36 psi down to 32, that got rid of the floaty/wandering feeling but I was still feeling more jolt from bumps than with the Falkens. With them now at 29 to 30 cold, the shock from bumps feels about the same as with the old tires. I may have the opportunity to do a chalk test tomorrow and if so, I’ll report back.
