Just a little info/background, i have a 22 3.0 Willys with now just over 100K miles and am looking for some advice/opinions on how to proceed with the dealership or Jeep cares. I developed an oil weep/leak right before the 5yr/100k powertrain warranty (also have the jeep extended warranty as well) and brought it in, the dealership said they put the dye in it and to drive it 500 miles and return ( which put it over the 100k). I did that and they said it was a rear main seal leak as well as a cylinder engine gasket. I had my doubts and let them do their thing only to get a call a week later to say it wasn't the rear main but the engine bed plate (which has a specialized sealant instead of rvt apparently). So another 5 days pass and I get notified that my vehicle should be ready by end of day (yea!). Later that afternoon i get a vehicle health report of low oil pressure (ugh) and don't have a great feeling about it. The service advisor calls and states that they took it for a test drive and when they parked it they noticed (like from 15ft away) that it was leaking a "good: amount of oil, and that it wouldn't be ready. I questioned if any damage was/could of been caused from this and they reassured me that it wasn't ( um ok lol) and finally gave me a loaner since this was their screw up. So my question is should i reach out to @JeepCares and see if there is anything they can do to make sure that my engine doesn't have any future problem form this? I know that the dealership doesn't think so, and stated that a check engine light didn't come on (bs I got the heath report). Just want some opinions on how to proceed if it is even worth while. Thanks!
