Took my 21 in for an oil leak, I had a small buildup of fluid near the rear main seal area. After looking at it they said it was a leak from the upper oil pan. Thought it was weird because it was sticky. They are dropping the upper pan and resealing it. Free oil change haha.

I asked if while it was in their possession if they could do the fuel pump recall. They said they still haven’t been allotted the parts and wouldn’t/couldn’t add me to their waitlist. First dealer I tried said they don’t have any techs that are ecodiesel certified so they wouldn’t be able to help either way.

There’s an “EcoDiesel Certification”!? Wondering if I should be asking to see some credentials at my dealer service center ?

Your dealer is blowing smoke up you know what and just doesn't want to work on it. As simple as that. The dealer should have no issue putting you on the list for parts, but there will be a wait. There is no Ecodiesel certification. I asked my local dealer about that and the "tech" laughed and said they work on everything. Find another dealer, if they don't want to work on it you probably won't want them working on it either.
