I brought my 2023 Gladiator in for an oil change and fuel filter replacement back in May. They discovered the Timing Cover Gasket leak and it took them 6 months to get all of the necessary parts needed to complete the warranty work. It's currently been at the dealership since last week. They actually gave me a loaner after asking for one for a couple of weeks - they have me driving a 2025 Grand Cherokee with the window sticker still on it. Fingers crossed the techs know what they're doing 😱

Just got mine back from the timing chain cover leak. Took him 5 days. I smell burning oil right now like there is a pcv valve hose off or something. I’m trying to wait it out to see if it’s just residual burning off.
I also have a slight bird chirping sound when the throttle is pressed. Like a vacuum leak or something somewhere or a cracked plastic vacuum line. Not sure. Been trying to drive it more and replicate it to be able to show them when I go back.
Other than that so far, knock on wood 🪵, it’s been good.

3rd time is a charm. 63k miles on my 3.0L and they changed the timing covers and oil pan. The leak now appears to be gone. (fingers crossed)

As a follow up to my previous post, all is good so far with mine. The chirping sound I heard was a vacuum line not seated properly. Which was also causing the oil smell cause that stopped as well at the same time I fixed the line.
Hope yours goes well this time around!
