I will admit that I thought DW was a tinfoil hat kind of thing after owning many Jeeps and never seeing it, including in my 12K mile early 2020 Gladiator with Mopar lift and 34s. But son of a gun if it didn't happen to me last week. Not like out of control or scary, but definitely perpetual strong steering wheel shake at 65 mph that only stopped when I slowed down. I was like, I believe!!!!

I hereby apologize to all DW Believers who I've snickered at for all these years. You, a crack in the road, and a bunch of lawyers have proved me wrong.

So with my 2020 here's what I gather:

1. After lift install, keep OEM stabilizer and ask for a replacement; since I'm covered till 90k miles and I'm under warranty (or MaxCare end date once purchased)
2. FCA isn't paying me for anything I never/haven't replaced yet
3. Standby for actual outcome in reality of the case, which is TBD...

But the plaintiffs get 4K for their troubles. Not too uncommon to do that to get them to shut up and settle.

Mine wasn't from the factory, so the dealership replaced it and primed it.

Some time ago I was trying to get the wandering fixed in our '19 JLU. There was a lot of talk back then about the damper being the cause. And there were so many posts. Some the damper was installed upside down after service. That ruined it, and they had to be replaced again

Doesn't seem right to me that DW is caused by the damper.

I bought some Fox Shocks (Rubicon take-offs) and a Fox Steering Stabilizer. Maybe that Amazon receipt from a few years ago will be worth some money.

I did the same on my 2020 Overland, I need to track down my receipt. I’m pretty sure I bought them on Amazon. Otherwise, I’m forked. I have no idea where I bought it. I’m referring to my fox steering stabilizer. I did the rubicon take offs also, but that wouldn’t do me any good.
