I see quadratec has some cube lights with adapters that will fit perfectly in the rear bumper where the reflectors are at. Going to put some extra lighting under the rails of the bed and local shop has a light that I want to put on the front that throws out a ton of light. Trying to see where or how to mount it if I just keep the stock bumper for now. Got some new LED Amber bulbs for the fog lights and also the LED bulbs many of the forum members used in their stock lights. Think that will give me enough lighting and pass on the corner cube lights.
I know which ones you are talking about, can't justify the cost on those. When I get more time I might try to make something on my own for cheaper.

Good call on the LED bulbs. I haven't had the need to do much after putting those in.

I picked mine up couple weeks ago for $37500 with extended warranty. Left me with some money to play. Got some Rubi Take offs for $650 which I have since put on the truck and done a bunch of somewhat cheap interior mods. IWaiting on my Bak Flip MX4 Cover, HDX side steps and Undercover swing box for the back. That pretty much ate up the rest of my money I had budgeted. I managed to find a premium soft top still in the box for $1200 so I kind of had to take a bit from savings since the top put me over my budget but couldn't pass it up. So now anything else will just have to be as I get some spare case but not planning on doing to much more other than adding some extra lights.

I wish it had premium sound as the factory standard sound is not to great but I can live with it till I get a chance over time to maybe change the speakers out.

you really went all out on this thing already. Congrats. Glad you found a soft top as well. Can't wait to see updates looks like you are on the way to building up a nice rig.

Well I waited a year to get it so I had a good Idea what I wanted to do with it based on the money I had budgeted for it. When I didn't find one with soft top on it at purchase that threw a kink in the plans. Luckily I stumbled on some good deals for the Rubi take offs and the soft top. I'm out of money now so anything else will have to wait (LOL)

I kayak a lot, tow a camper and surfish on beaches, I ordered a 2021 Mojave, not cause it is desert rated but because it came with rear locker, heavy suspension, and I don’t need the other options like front locker and sway disconnect. I’m replacing an awesome beach buggy tow vehicle a lifted Suburban with custom roof rack, surf rod rack and good tow vehicle. AT 33” tires are the biggest I want and they came with it, yes it listed for $43,000 base and after leather and all the extras I’m at $55,000 list got it for $52000. I spent a lot of time figuring out the kayak thing, can’t use a trailer at places I go, five foot bed means I have to put them up above. First plan was to put a rack on the hard top, most up there would be three 12-13’ peddle drive yaks. Then because of this damn site, I stumbled across a bed cap made by RSI with rack rails on it and it dawned on me, why get a rack over bed or on hard top and a bedcover when I’m replacing the Suburban that I slept in twice last year. So ordered the ungodly expensive stainless steel top and have not looked back, jeep and top should be here in October. I expect to own the gladiator my average of 11 years or so I will be taking long trips up and down the coast, so the comfort is important. I have not needed a winch in my many years of fourwheeling although my 46 CJ2A had one, they just add weight and block radiator airflow for me. A base model overland , or Mojave are more money but some of those options on the sport are standard , and do you need big tires or towing as the max tow packages give you a 4.10 axle ratio that will cost you a mile or two per gallon. Any model of Gladiator is a very good offroad vehicle out of the box with not accesories.....Jack

I kayak fish and kayak a lot as well. My Compass is 12' so I just throw my extender into my towing hook up and slide mine into the back bed of the truck.

Glad to hear it! Sounds good on budget. Because you have one, and you save first. This thing will give more than you gave anyhow. The hard top is a nice add with the freedom panels. Go anywhere. Do anything. Jeep Truck. Yours is awesome. Happy for you!

I normally drive my trucks for as long as possible like into the 200+/300,000 mile range as long as repairs don't get to bad. This was the first time I ever traded a truck in at 40,000 miles but for the JT it was a no brainer. Hoping in 4-5 years when I move will be to something with a bit of space for me to be able to keep this thing even if I do get a newer model in years to come.
