Hey all! I bought a diesel heater from the jungle site...
It's a HCalory rectangular type, with the intake/exhaust underneath, and the hot air out the side. I bought it to heat my garage, and it works great in conjunction with my Buddy Heater. But I mounted it in my garage with an option so I can remove it fairly easily and take it on the road. I'm purchasing a new RTT (Colorado 4x4) which has a port intake for heat.
I see several people make some questionable self-made mounts, and they mount it outside their racks. I want to mount it on the inside of my rack. It's bluetooth, so I can control it from it's remote while in the tent. I just can't find a decent mount. I'm using a Rebel Off-Road Xplorer 1/2 rack, and want to mount it on the inside near the tailgate area. That should help prevent damage/theft while traveling, and allow fairly easy setup. The only downside would be fueling it.
Any thoughts/suggestions on decent rack mounts for these? I want to mount it in the area next to my fridge/slider is, or perhaps behind it up near the cab area. Pic for reference.
