I finally got the recall letter stating there still isn't a fix yet so I contacted my dealer and they advised me to call Chrysler, I did and they sent me to Jeep Wave and they told me if the vehicle becomes inoperable because of the recall and there's no fix, that they would step in cover the rental. Just wondering if this is how it's worked in the real world for those who have had the HPFP take a shit on them?

There is no resolution the masses will accept. To prolong or avoid the issue, fill up before reaching 1/4 tank, use some sort of fuel treatment (HotShot EDT) and properly prime the fuel system when changing fuel filters.

About a year ago my 22 JTRD that I ordered lost the pump at 3k.... took about 40 days to get a new pump, injectors, rails, fuel filter housing and lines from the tank to injectors....
The entire time I had either a dealer loaner or an enterprise rental... no out of pocket for me

Look same, we started with a used 16 JKUR, about 2 weeks in the CEL lit up so we returned it to carmax. 2 mins in a diesel we decided to order a 21 JLURD, still have with 50k on it... so was natural to get diesel in my JT, the 23 I replaced it with is also diesel.... the 3.6 is ANEMIC in comparison....

Proper maintenance and fueling will help to keep the pump in good running order. There's no guarantee's but the odds will be in your favor.

Yea, I've been running Hotshot since the first fuel up and will continue to do so, have the dealer change the fuel filter every 10k. Not sure what else I can do on my end except pray lol

Drive it like a diesel should be driven and make it work.
