Eco diesel fuel pump recall, problems immediately afterwards.

I just noticed this morning that the MAP reading is stuck on 0.7"Hg vacuum regardless of throttle position or load........... Hoping for a defective or unplugged MAP sensor for the p0299 code.

Be interested what they find with yours.

Just got the call from the dealer. He explained to replace the pump, the bend down the lower charge tube, and they ripped a gasket, so it’s sucking air. Gasket is 8 days out. So no jeepin for me this weekend.

Maybe unrelated but this thread talks about the Map sensor and it's tendency to get dirty.

The MAP sensor could very well be one issue. Especially if my DPF is passing unfiltered exhaust soot to the low pressure EGR system. It's gotta go in and it's under warranty, so I'll just have to trust the system and hope she gets fixed!

No issues with actual pump or leaks but Tech didnt make sure all the breather lines that he removed to perform the swap were reconnected . One the lines from the turbo popped off and made my JT kick and sputter like a 1st driver learning to drive a manual.
