Is anyone experiencing terrible fuel mileage after the Hpfp recall? I was consistently getting 17 mpg around town and 20 highway, but since the recall i can’t get 13mpg in town and struggle to get 16 highway. This is based off of hand calculations. I’m not ruling out the possibility of winter blend fuel being the culprit but I’ve never had such a drastic change with the fuel in any diesel truck I’ve owned. Anyone else seeing this?

In my experience winter blend doesn’t really affect the diesel that much. I do better than your starting point on 4.5” lift and 37s, averaging 22-23 per tank consistently. Something isn’t adding up on yours, that’s 3.6 numbers.

Yea, the most I’ve seen is 1-2mpg drop with winter blend and I’ve owned a few diesel vehicles. My typical Mpg is usually less than most because i live in the mountains so 50% is uphill driving. But i was still averaging 17 on a 3.5” lift and 37’s prior to the pump replacement.

My mileage went up a hair. Think it's the warmer temps. Getting between 19 and 20 back and forth for work.

Are you 43 on the list? My dealer says I’m number 42…. They are getting 2 pumps a month. I’ll be out of the 100k/5yr warranty by then I’m assuming.

I guess I am. I live in an area where the diesels really aren’t that popular. In fact, I drove to another state to get what I wanted. At this point I’m pretty sure they just flat forgot about me 😂

I think you had an issue before I get low to mid 20's with 4 inch lift 37's

Don't know much about the HPFP recall process, but is it possible they flashed your PCM and changed your tire size?

I am right there with you guys. I am going to have them do my rear axle seal while it is in there.

Mind me asking which dealer you went with? Jim Marsh is the one that told me I'm 42nd.
