Finally got mine done today....
Was on a dealer list since Feb (#34 at last check) - Was at another dealer last week getting a filter and stopped by service on a whim - said they had the parts avail to bring it in this week. 🤷‍♂️
Took a total of 1.5hrs.
No ECU flash/change
No new fuel filter
Don't notice any difference in sound or function on the way home.
Got the packet of info/stickers on the seat and a sticker stuck to the hood with hand written "changed HPFP" on it.

It's truly hit or miss with these dealers and the parts!!! One dealer is doing 1 a month while another has the parts just sitting on the shelf.... Crazy...

That was my exact experience, I was waiting for months for a pump but then took it elsewhere for a separate issue who just had them on the shelf.

Has anyone had a issue with the new pump? Most miles after the new pump?

I’ve only got about 4 months and under 5k on mine.. but no issues thus far.

I’ve seen a few failed original HPFP’s that were replaced with the same original HPFP, but have yet to read about a failed recall unit.

I've had mine since last Jan. Got around 10,000 miles or so on it. It's been trouble free.

It's almost a year now since my first stealership "ordered" the parts to complete the recall. It's probably been almost 2 months since I had a second place order recall parts.

I'm still waiting for something to happen with either dealer. I mean this is a recall that's been open for a year now and a known issue with the cp4 pump placed in so many different brands.

@JeepCares
you have bad luck, i would shop around for a different dealership.

I called mine, said i had a recall and 2 weeks later had a new pump installed.

It is no longer a parts issue, it's a dealer scheduling issue.
