Think I'm doing about the same on fuel mileage, but I'm barely into the second tank since my recall was done in March. Mine was done by Jim Marsh, so I must have been one of the luckier ones to get it done as quickly as it was.

My mileage has also dropped a few points — but of greater concern is the fact that I am now experiencing an intermittent rough idle (while in park, usually after the engine is fully warmed up). At times the steering wheel has a significant vibration and an extremely strong reverberating sound throughout the vehicle when idling in park or drive…

Mine dropped 3-4 mpg and I took it back to the dealership. They performed a software update and was right back where I was prior to the swap. I have noticed my highway mpg is up 1-2 mpg.
I have an appointment this Friday for an oil change, I will have them check it out then. This is good info, thank you.

No noticeable difference in mpg in our two Jeeps after recall pump install.
Both Jeeps were done by Tonkin Hillsboro CJDR back to back of each other.
They contacted us to schedule the first one because we bought it there. While dropping it off I asked about our other one. They said no problem and scheduled it for the next day.
They told me they could get my in-laws Jeep the next week if needed.

I'm happy with the work, if anybody needs this done still.

Nope. Got 32 last weekend on a 3 hour trip. Had a tailwind though….

I was at Tonkin Hillsboro today buying a Ram, they agreed it’s probably a forgotten flash issue.

For those that claimed mpg dropped. Did you guys compared with hands calculated? Mine also dropped on the mid but hands calculated says otherwise. I'm not sure if my foot just got heavier or this new pump consuming more fuel.

No difference in mine. Had mine done last week and went on a little weekend road trip (200+ miles) and averaged 28 mpg there and 26 mpg back for an average of 27 mpg.

Mine for sure has lost mpg. Hand calc and computer are showing the same decrease. I used to get 24 on the highway, now I’m barely at 19.5. I don’t know what’s going on, but I knew I shouldn’t have had the recall done.

I'm starting to wonder if they changed the cam profile and that changed pump output.

Reading on another thread(one of many hpfp threads)in here..believe someone mentioned the clocking(timing) of the pump, can be out so many degrees and effect pump performance which would effect the mpg.

I posted a video about that in another thread. That was on a Gen 2 motor.

I had my fuel Pump and rear axel replace last month. I did notice a small decrease in fuel economy however I want to say the diesel blend and regen is playing a factor. The mpgs seem the same as last year around this time

I swear I must be the last MF on the list for the recall ?‍♂
I'm right in front or behind you. Still waiting for parts to materialize at the dealership. :(
