Diode Dynamics elite max issues.

Just installed my new Diode dynamics lights and then I noticed my drivers side light was way too high. I took the grill off to make adjustments and noticed the plastic around the screws was crumbling. These had not been on longer than a day and it was only hand tight, I didn’t crank it down at all. Now I’m going to have to call for warranty and pull everything back out. Anybody seen anything like this before?

Guess I’m stronger than I give myself credit for. Hopefully they’ll take care of me or I’ll be using some JB weld very soon.

Got to give a huge shoutout to Diode Dynamics customer service. I emailed them the photos and also mentioned the adjustment issues I was having and they are sending out a replacement set. I’ll definitely be buying from them again.

I waited to comment until I saw this. From everything I’ve heard they really stand behind their product. I’m not really surprised that something like this got through but I know they check the functionality every step of the way when building lights. These are the lights I want on my Jeep.

They’re also awesome I couldn’t go to anything else after seeing them. Don’t think I could’ve fixed the drivers light aiming at tree tops without some serious modifications but I definitely would have tried if they didn’t have a great warranty.
