I recently mounted the DL DT-1s with 4 new OEM TPMS sensors. They are 17x9 w/ 4.5 BS. I am unable to get the TPMS to read the rears. I swapped a rear from the front and now its reading the sensor from that wheel and not the one in the back. This leads me to believe there is an issue with the rear TPMS signal and reader. With 4.5 BS the wheels do have some tire poke, about 1.5", but the TPMS are sunk into the wheel to protect them on these rims so it can't be that much further out than OEM.

I tried to air them all down to 15psi, drove a few miles, then inflated them all to 40psi, and still can't pick up the rears.

Anyone with similar issue with wheels or any 4.5 BS wheels?

Have you driven on the freeway/highway yet?
Because it takes sometime for them to start reading.
Drive on a highway going 55 or 60mph for about 15mins, it should start reading.

BTW I also have Dirty Life DT-1s!

Sorry I can't help more than this... but it's definitely not a backspacing issue. I've got 17x9s with 3.5" of backspacing and I transferred my factory TPMSs over and have no issues.

Have you swapped the rears to the front to see what happens then?

Yes, that's what I just tried recently. Now the rears on the front are reading, and the fronts that were reading before aren't picking up in the rear. Thats why I figured it wasn't a sensor issue, but a receiver issue.

yes I have had it on the highway many times in the last few weeks with plenty of ignition cycles. still can't get them to read. Glad to see they are working for you on your rig, at least I know it's not the wheels. Thanks

I'm running the same setup DT-1s with the stock sensors. no issues with reading the pressure.

Also this thread now has all the DT-1 colors represented

I've had no issues with the sensors on my DT-1's and they've been on over a year.

Sounds like a receiver issue since you have rotated the tires and it's the same location drawing a blank.

Time to let the dealer earn some warranty money. If you have the receipt for the sensors take it with you so there's no argument over correct sensors in place.

This may be the answer. I'm still waiting for the parts to come in for my RR axle leak so I will inquire about it then. I may try putting the stock wheels and tires back on to see if it picks up those again. They were reading fine, and this issue started the day I put the 35s on.
