I'm glad he did! Now, I get to reply to these:

Ummmm, yeah. I don't believe it's just the 8.4".
Since when I bought my 2020 Rubi I was asked if I wanted to connect to Uconnect with my phone and use the app to monitor my JT or remote start or lock or unlock. It's a 7".
At the distances they were talking, that isn't bluetooth.
If you notice, the moment you plug your phone into any of the ports to charge, your phone automatically loads the bluetooth connection settings and connects. ( The only way to avoid is use a good old fashioned cigarette lighter charger or a data blocker cord)
The bluetooth connection allows the jeep app to download all vehicle info and then send to Stelantis. It doesn't need a constant connection just needs to update every time you take your phone within range of the vehicle.
