Disappointed by heated steering wheel

I thought it had to be below 40 degrees to come on.

Only for it to come on automatically when you start it up. You can turn it on manually anytime.

Reading this thread. It seems like the 3 bears. It's either too hot, too cool, or just right. Mine is just right. Used it this morning.

One at 11 so I can easily Jeep Wave!
My heated wheel in my 21 gets good and hot then throttles back some.
My heated seats on the other hand, I usually have to kick them down a notch or two about 5 minutes in as I get too hot.

Mind gets too hot and i don't like it. Sometimes it doesn't feel like its working also.

And I would say this sounds like normal operation and it probably adjust on intensity of ambient temperatures.

i would assume so too. I usually have to turn it off once the cab is to temp anyways. Sweaty palms aren't fun!

I think that is only for the remote start function. Sorry for the long delay, Ive been on vacation
