Warm but never hot. Cheaped out and only give us one setting because Jeep knows what everyone’s ideal comfort level is?
On one of my former motorcycles the heated handgrip setting when it was on high was so hot I could smell my leather gloves baking.:like:
Heated grips is a legit safety feature, on a cart/truck it's a comfort feature. Operating brake and clutch with a frozen claw grip is not fun.

Often, it is downright impossible!

I just got my 2022 JTR and I'm noticing that the heated steering wheel does not heat up nearly as well as in (formerly) my 2018 JLU. I wish I took temp measurements in JLU, but that steering wheel would heat up to the point, if I held on tight to it, it would be almost too much. In JTR, the wheel gets lukewarm. Wondering if it's something Jeep changed after 2018 or it's an issue with my JTR. Anybody has any knowledge/experience?
I was expecting you to say it's too hot, my 22' heats up lightning fast to uncomfortable levels. Still better than the old days of freezing steering wheels.

My wonderful wife insisted that I get myself the heated seats and wheel. I gotta say, the heated steering wheel is one of my favorite features of this Jeep. I’ll often run it in warm to hot weather. If you think that’s strange, you will understand when you are older and paid your dues. Arthritic fingers are a bitch.
