As daily drivers I’ve had a 90s (first gen) Jeep Cherokee; first gen Dodge Durango (Mopar parts bin shared with Jeep); Jeep Liberty; 17 Wrangler Sahara; and a 20 Gladiator Overland. None - not one - of them ever got stuck in the snow. Based on experience (and I’m an old fart) me thinks driver error.

You weren't trying hard enough.
I've gotten almost every 4wd/AWD vehicle I've ever owned stuck in the snow. That includes the wife's daily drivers. How else are you gonna learn their limits.
Beside, gotta have fun somehow.

That's how guys who made the mistake of switching to Chevy get their off road fix...toy Jeeps. Even a hot wheels Jeep is more off road worthy.
