Distracting myself while depressed about build status

First of all, thank God for all of you/us on this forum - sharing information is a life saver when information is not forth coming from FCA!

But... reading all the threads about status delays, hail damage, will-manual-transmissions-ever-be-built, etc, has gotten me pretty down. Like - should I even be doing this? Seriously.

So I took myself window shopping on Ebay to see the pretty Jeeps for sale and came across this 1955 Willys. Nice distraction, huh?

Congrats on the purchase! You have nothing to feel depressed about. You should be excited, and yes, you should be doing this. I’d love to have a Gladiator coming my way, and eventually I will but can’t until later. It will all be worth it when you meet your truck for the first time.

I do agree that this forum is great and helps me while I wait and save my pennies. That 1955 though... gorgeous.

It appears, I am one of the lucky ones with a pretty fast build... BUT I have been waiting since Jeep's first concept Gladiator back in 2005. I have been talking about it ever since. I guess that is why my wife was on board with me ordering my dream. Also my truck is 16 years old. This would be my first choice. A two door "Green" truck. COPING

You can keep yourself busy and do some things on the "honey do list" or work in the yard to get your mind off of jeeps for a while.
