Came home and sat in my lazyboy. Heard the girl and wifey yelling at each other in the basement. Get up and walk to the top of the steps listening. Then walk down a few steps and sit there watching them. Typical mother, daughter argument. Then Rachel pulls back her arm with a closed fist. I busted out laughing. Both looked at me. Wifey's pissed because I'm laughing. I said to Rachel. "If you throw that punch, it will be the last thing you remember doing". Wifey was pissed at me for hours afterwards because I sat there and watched.

I am at 4 daughters, no fist fights and all grown up and moved out. I love them, but glad they are gone. I do not have enough energy. They say boys are easier.

If ANY of the kids cocked back a fist to their Mom she’d lay em out before I ever got a chance to. She’s scrappy. And not in a bad way. Calling her a Firecracker is like calling an M-80 one of those lil snap cap things you throw on the ground and they pop.

I dont mind the duck thing. I have seasonal ducks. Kids love it.

But when it comes to gifting ducks I go by the dashboard. If I see they have a duck, I may leave a duck if their jeep cool / muddy. If no duck on dash, do not leave a duck they clearly aren't playing.

Its like the wave. I wave to other jeeps. If they dont wave back, no big deal man. If they do- awesome.

Little common sense and courtesy go a long way.
