I have part of it. I kept the roof and sold the rest to a guy who had another wrecked postal with more body damage.

I had an '86 Comanche that I bought in '88 and sold in '92. I put about 100k miles on it. The only breakdown I had with it was breaking the rear ring gear...twice. I assume it must have not had a very strong rear end because mine had the 2.5L 4 cylinder that must have produced no more than 27 horsepower..... I always wished it had the 4.0!

Yep if get one it will definitely have to have the 4.0. I had a 89 XJ that I put almost 300,000 miles on before I sold it that had the 4.0, bulletproof engine.

Had the scrambler out for a drive. The small block chevy can be cold blooded in the winter.

1981 Jeep CJ-8 and my ne Gladiator. Scrambler has been in the family since New. I got it fro. My brother when I was 17. In 1984 I drove it for 30 years and put a lot of time and money in it. I gave it to my Nephew in 2014 to ha e as a toy. Still runs and drives great.

82 scrambler I've had since 2004 with a 4.0 l and auto trans. D44 lockers. Cage etc. I drive it daily but I'm finding im taking the jt more and more as my wheeling gets more moderate and overlanding esque.... I thought the scrambler would go to my grandson (17 yo) by now but his mom and grandma have resisted that so far as well as grandmas general prohibition to modifying the jt...
