It's frustrating when I have a whole tool box of tools but Jeep decided to use bastard bolts to hold the seat down. What's wrong with a stand or even metric bolt head???

People messing with critical safety equipment. The more difficult you make things, the less likely someone is to toy with something that might get them killed. The seat bolts are not intended to be removed and if you do you need to clean and add new loctite. Most people don't do that.
