Sweet, I have the red one. Gotta find this more relevant color for me
the gobi just dropped recently. Stocker was opening the box as I walked up. I use to hot wheels hunt and have roughly 3000 cars in storage. Been donating them for years and barely make a dent. Still look out for Jeeps though for my office and coworkers. I will be collecting every variation of the JT.

I know what you mean. Building an RC kit is one my favorite things to do. I’m planning on building some kyosho and Tamiya ones for display in my office. Ones from my youth, like the grasshopper and frog.

I like building them more than I like driving them.

That crawler is cool; what kit is that?

My RC days are back from the late 80’s early 90’s; used to race an AE RC10 that I modified. Also had a Clod Buster and a few others. Then I started playing with real cars...now I want the toys again! :CWL:

I was young and poor when the RC10 came out. I had a tamiya grasshopper at that time. I did race AE T3 I think in the early 2000s. From there I have owned too many RCs. It was an obsession for many years.

The one in my previous photo is an axial bomber. Check out Axial’s website. They have some awesome kits. But be prepared to fall into a spending rabbit hole. They are just like Jeeps. They stay a pick for about a minute. The cool part is, if you like rock crawling but can’t afford a full scale rig, you can do it with these. It’s really fun. Last one I had, had front, center, and rear Electronic lockers. Plus a two speed trans. It was awesome.

Dang good find... I've been looking for a JT and that's the right color too. I'm not to the level of some here. I'll have to check around for a few of them.
On the RC cars I've had 2 El crap ola ones starting back in 89 the controller for it might not be USA useable being a European spec airplane unit. The second one was a real junk one but it was a LJ.

Where did you find those? I've only seen the red ones.
Sorry dude missed your comment. Found them at Walmart. This color just dropped and it’s that time of the month where restocking starts so don’t miss them. I’d try target as well. Hotwheels hoarders are the devil and will buy all these and mark them up to $10. I’d know I use to be one...

Ditto, I had a bunch of RCs; I can’t remember them all. I raced my RC10, which was a lot of fun. Our local hobby store had a dirt track in the backyard of the owner’s house.

Yeah, those Axial kits are sweeet. So realistic, they are practically running scale models. My wife would probably leave me if I had another expensive hobby!

No worries. I'll check tomorrow. Thanks.
